  • It is found at the Thiruvidaikazhi Murugan Temple, Nagapattinam (TN)
  • The name means ‘The Lord Who delights Kunjari'

  • Lord Muruga and Sri Devasena are sculpted as a single Murti
  • The Lord has His left arm on Devasena’s shoulder, and His right arm in Abhaya Mudra
  • During temple functions and Lord Shiva festivals, this Murti is taken out for procession
  • Worshipping this form of Lord Muruga is said to bestow children with good education
