  • Lord Muruga is depicted as similar to Lord Shiva, along with Sri Devasena
  • Here, Murugan & Devasena are considered to be forms of Lord Shiva & Uma Devi respectively
  • During Arudhra Darshanam (a Lord Shiva festival), all poojas are performed to this murti only
  • The murtis are then taken out for procession (Veethi Ula)
