Bahuleya Sabapathy
- This form of Lord Muruga is based on the concept of ‘Murugane Eesan, Eesane Murugan’
(Lord Shiva & Lord Muruga are 2 forms of the same Divinity)
- It is found as an Urchava Murthy at Sri Swamimalai temple, TN
- Lord Muruga is depicted as similar to Lord Shiva, along with Sri Devasena
- Here, Murugan & Devasena are considered to be forms of Lord Shiva & Uma Devi respectively
- During Arudhra Darshanam (a Lord Shiva festival), all poojas are performed to this murti only
- The murtis are then taken out for procession (Veethi Ula)
